Jesus is the Captain of the ship,
So, do no let us despair.
The Master of our ship is Jesus,
He'll stir our ship to safety.

Refrain:

Do not be afraid,
Be filled with great joy.
'Cause Jesus is the Chief Commander.
No matter the strength of the storm,
He'll stir our ship to safety.

All ye people aboard the ship,
Cry unto Jesus only,
And put your trust in Christ alone,
He'll stir our ship to safety.

Saviour come with Your very word,
Hush the angry wave to a still.
You Who walked upon the waters,
You slept and were not alarmed.

What is it that frets and scares you,
O you soldiers of the Christ?
If Jesus Christ be in the ship,
We shall laugh the storm to scorn.

When life's storm rages and threatens,
Both on land and in the sea,
We've a sure fortress and refuge,
In Jesus our Saviour.

From the lions and the leopards,
From the savage and wild beasts,
Jesus will cover His beloved,
Jesus will preserve His own.

God, Trinity, powerful One,
Protect all we Your children
From tornadoes and hurricanes,
Let us shout hallelujah.

Glory to the heav'nly Father,
Glory be to His dear Son,
Glory to the Holy Spirit,
The Trinity deserves praise.

  1. Hello AY,
Your intentions are fine and well taken.

I did not do any research on the lyrics of the song published above, but I do know that the lyrics of the refrain is incomplete. So I have included the missing line here. You will do well to update it accordingly.

    REFRAIN:
E ma se beru, E kun fun ayo
    Nitori Jesu l'oga oko
Bo ti wu k'iji na le to
    Y'o mu oko wa gunle
