Christians lift your voice in praises
On this memorable day
Sing in gladness, let your voices
Sing all over vale and dale
Laud Hosannas, laud Hosannas,
Sea and streams all join the strain.

Come ye people, raise the anthem
On the earth, and heaven above
All creatures above and beneath
Sing the praise in Jesus' Name
Praise Him! Praise Him!
Praise to our king born this day.

Sing the praises, all Africans,
Though your skin be dark or light
Sing Hosannas, laud Hosannas
Right round all our continent,
Let every king, let every king
Prostrate fall to Christ our King.

Sing Hosannas, laud Hosanna,
Sing aloud and shout for joy;
The stronghold of Satan vanquished,
For the woman's Seed appears
Allelujah, Allelujah,
Great Redeemer, King of kings.

Seraphs lift on high your voices,
With the Cherubs round the throne;
Angels and the saints in Heaven
Join with them ye heav'ly hosts,
Rejoice with us, rejoice with us,
Year of jubilee is come.

Laud and honour to the Father
Laud and honour to the Son
Laud and honour to the Spirit
Three-in-One and One-in-Three
Hear us and accept our praises
Thine the glory thine alone
