May the grace of Christ our Savior
and the Father's boundless love,
with the Holy Spirit's favor, rest upon us from above.
Thus may we abide in union
with each other and the Lord, and possess, in sweet communion, joys which earth cannot afford.

Amazing work on these Yoruba hymns, lyrics and interpretations. For the song titled "K'ore Ofe Krist' Oluwa" I believe the second line of the second stanza is "Awa ati Oluwa". What do you think?
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's how it is. I was the one that adjusted that line because I thought "Away ati Oluwa" doesn't perfectly translate "with each other and the Lord".
